
Q-1 Video Network was started in 1986 in Coldwater MI. Over the past 22 years, Q-1 Video has become a multi-faceted company that produces Local and National Television programs and commercials…from Long-Form infomercials to local 30-second commercials. In addition, Q-1 produces training and promotional presentations for Business on DVD and for the Internet.
Q-1 Video Network’s accomplishments include a multitude of local and national television shows. National programming has included Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild that won the inaugural Golden Moose Award from the Outdoor Channel for the Best Hunting Show as chosen by the viewers. Q-1 has produced other outdoor programming on the Outdoor Channel such as, Crest Pontoons Reel Fishing Adventures, MuzzleBlasts TV, and The One Shot Challenge in addition to DVD’s including Ken Moody’s Safari "Total Non-Stop Action" DVD, and Razorback Attack with Michael Waddell. Q-1 has produced Long Form infomercials for the Ray Cook Golf Company on the Ray Cook Putting System and for Cryofire Golf on their new driver. We also contributed to programming on VH1, A & E, as well as sports programming on ESPN and the former TNN.
Over the past nine years, Q1 has developed and refined a multi-media contest that is engaging deer hunting enthusiasts throughout Michigan. Our experience with the Q1 Big Buck Pole contest has helped us understand what it takes to capture and sustain the attention of passionate interest groups and how to connect those groups to businesses that have something relevant to offer. This formula can be duplicated to create contests that engage other groups as well.
By expanding its flagship promotion, the Q1 Big Buck Pole, 2009 will be the year that Q1 becomes the premier company in Michigan for creating multi-media contests that engage passionate interest groups.
In December 2008, Q1 held a Big Buck Pole strategy meeting with fourteen experts from outside the company. Participants came from all over the state of Michigan and represented a wide range of expertise; from banking & investment, technology, television, web design, marketing and event management, to passionate hunters, existing Buck Pole sponsors and potential new sponsors. Many interesting ideas were discussed and a blue print to expand the Q1 Big Buck Pole was the end result.
Q-1 is also expanding its corporate video business to include online videos. Online video is becoming a marketer’s most popular and cost-effective way to broadcast their message in ways that will change consumer behavior and get them emotionally involved with the marketer’s brand. Using online video is finally allowing marketer’s the ability to capture solid metrics and measurable ROI. During tough economic times, cost-effective and measurable results are paramount.
Tim Hart is the founder of Q1; as well as the creator and on-air talent for the Big Buck Pole. In May of 2008, Tim added business management and finance expertise by bringing on CEO Joe Chase. To round out the management team, Q1 has added Andy Chandler. Andy brings exceptional sales experience and relationships within the deer hunting community. We believe this team has the experience and passion to make the Q1 Big Buck Pole a multi-state deer hunting promotion.
Q-1 is currently seeking growth capital. In return, an investor receives the following:
1. Shares of common stock in Q-1 Video Network, Inc.
2. A seat on our Big Buck Pole Advisory Council.
3. An annual dividend payment. A dividend equaling 20% of the company’s annual net profit will be distributed proportionately to all common stock shareholders.
